PlantFusion’s fermentation process explained

No Carriers: At PlantFusion, our organic fermented line of products use whole foods and ingredients to ensure our fermented vegetables, fruits, and herbs come with their native qualities. This includes ensuring the presence of macro and micronutrients, as well as natural fibers, without additional sugars. Our whole ingredients are organic, natural, clean label, and eco-friendly.

Under Control: Our fermented ingredients are produced using the process of controlled fermentation to avoid unintended consequences by terminating the process with a heat step. Controlled fermentation benefits include longer food preservation by creating an environment that inhibits the growth of bacteria; enhanced flavor; increased nutritional value of certain nutrients that are more bioavailable to the body; and diversity to introduce a greater variety of foods throughout the year by allowing for preservation of seasonal items.

Sticking to Tradition: The fermented items in our catalog use traditional natural methods of fermentation with yeast and lactic acid bacteria to achieve optimal health benefits of whole foods and ingredients. Traditional fermentation methods use specific environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and time-tested processes to ensure safety; promote the growth desirable microorganisms; and prevent the growth of harmful ones.

Raising the Bar for Key Nutrients: Through the reduction of sugars and simple carbohydrates during the traditional fermentation process we can concentrate and, in some cases, standardize key nutrients.

What is Curcumin, also known as curcuminoids?

Curcumin refers to the active compounds found in turmeric, such as curcumin, which are known for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Golden latte

Slightly sweet with a touch of spice. I mix this with an unsweetened oatmilk creamer and whirl it up in my coffee with an emersion blender for a perfectly frothy golden latte. It also tastes great on its own with just cold water or added to the fruitful greens powder or a vanilla protien powder.... the possibilities are almost endless. This is my favorite Plant Fusion product so far
